40th Anniversary

This year is our 40th Anniversary, and as part of our celebrations a short video has been made by media students at Tremough campus. See the Anniversary video 10 mins duration.


Welcome to Perran-ar-Worthal Village Memorial Hall, usually (but incorrectly) known as "Perranwell Village Hall"

Built in 1971 to replace the well used Nissen hut of 1953 the hall serves the parish of Perran-ar-worthal and surrounding districts, ideally situated between Truro and Falmouth.

A well established venue for a wide range of community groups and private functions, see the "What's on" page for more information on what's available.

Facilities

Detailed information can be found on the "Room hire" page, but to sumarise we have;

  • Main badminton court sized hall plus stage.
  • Maximum capacity 250.
  • Two function rooms.
  • Generous kitchen and servery.
  • Foyer and toilets.
  • Storage.
  • 30+ off road car parking.
  • Adjoining playing field (by arrangement with Parish Clerk).
  • Wheelchair access.

Getting to the hall

Train, Perranwell Station (on the Truro - Falmouth branch line) is a 15 minute walk.

The hall - registered charity 300585 - is owned by Perranarworthal Parish Council and maintained by an enthusiastic and hard working management committee of 10 members;
