4. (a) Under no circumstances should there be more than 200 people seated in the building during performance including entertainers and organisers or a maximum of 250 people attending private functions.
4. (b) Ensure that the seating is linked when set out for a theatre type audience.
5. Ensure that all entertainment stops immediately and the public be requested to leave the premises in the event of any situation arising which is likely to prejudice public safety.
6. The Committee cannot accept liability for any loss or damage to property brought into the premises in connection with any hiring.
7. The Hirer shall be responsible for compliance as appropriate with the conditions of the Hall's Public Entertainment Licence and Stage Play Licence, both of which may be inspected prior to signing this application, upon application to the Secretary but in particular;
(i) The premises shall not be used for public music, singing and dancing or other entertainment of a like kind except between the hours of 2.00pm to midnight from Mondays to Saturdays inclusive, and from 2.00pm to 10.30pm on Sundays, subject to the restrictions imposed by the Condition below;
(ii) Noise emanating from the premises shall not cause a nuisance to inhabitants of the neighbourhood and noise level (Laeq 5min) emanating from the premises should not exceed the prevailing background noise level (LA 90 5min), as measured at the boundary of the nearest residential property.
(iii) To employ a suitable and accurate method of determining the number of persons on the premises at any one time to ensure that the maximum permitted number is not exceeded.
8. Booking organisers are responsible for arranging their own liability and material damage insurances.
9. The Hirer agrees to indemnify the Village Hall Committee against any claims or proceedings which may be made arising from the use of the premises or by reason of the act, omission or default of the Hirer excluding any omissions by default of the Village Hall Committee.
10. The Committee does not have a licence to sell alcohol; the Hirer shall arrange for the necessary licence.
11. Hirers booking the field (hired by the village hall committee on behalf of the Parish Clerk) shall ensure that members of the public attending their functions comply with the existing exclusion of dogs, whether or not on a lead, from the field.
Housekeeping
The Hall does not have a caretaker; please leave the building and its contents in good order after use.

Information on the collection and safe keeping of keys will be provided following confirmation of booking.
Heating
Heating is available by coin-in-the-slot operation for all rooms.
